In 2026 the AVA will be celebrating it's 50th Anniversary. This link will take you to the AVA page which has info on the 17 walk events being held across the US to celebrate this event. These walking events are open to anyone to join for a day or for the entire event of many walks being offered over a period of a few days. The NW Region will be hosting a 50th Anniversary event, 'Walking in the Footsteps of Lewis and Clark' which coincides with the NW Regional Conference.

Sunday September 27th the registration will be open 8:00AM- 12:00PM. We will have stickers available for the walks, AVA distance and Event books for sale, Passport stickers for the event etc...
Meet and Greet (pizza and salad) will be on Friday night, September 25th. It looks like from 5:30-8:00 PM.
Banquet Dinner will be on Saturday night September 26th. 5:30PM -8:30 or 9:00PM. We will have an MC.
