In 2026 the AVA will be celebrating it's 50th Anniversary. This link will take you to the AVA page which has info on the 17 walk events being held across the US to celebrate this event. These walking events are open to anyone to join for a day or for the entire event of many walks being offered over a period of a few days. The NW Region will be hosting a 50th Anniversary event, 'Walking in the Footsteps of Lewis and Clark' which coincides with the NW Regional Conference. 

We will have more information about the NW Regional Conference walk event (Walking in the Footsteps of Lewis and Clark) in the coming months.
This will happen September 24-27th in Astoria OR. So far we are planning multiple walks, a bike, a Meet and Greet and a Dinner event.
